-- Who lives here

Project Objective

In the "Who Lives Here" project, the goal was to create personas for the inhabitants of a house depicted in a landscape photograph. This unique challenge aimed to explore the art of storytelling through visual composition.

My Role

This was an individual project, and my role was to delve into the image and craft personas that resonated with the setting. I had to employ creativity and imagination to breathe life into the characters who might call this house their home.

Challenges Faced

The main challenge of this project was the constraint of not using traditional screens or visual aids to showcase the personas. Instead, the project demanded a departure from the ordinary and a reliance on alternative sensory inputs and storytelling techniques to convey the essence of the inhabitants. In my end work, I addressed this challenge by creating a tactile and sensory experience. I developed a storyline that participants could listen to while interacting with a paper cutout representing the landscape. This multisensory experience incorporated scents to evoke the atmosphere and textures to feel the diversity of the landscape.

Impact

"Who Lives Here" pushed the boundaries of storytelling, requiring a deeper connection to the visual world and an innovative approach to persona creation. It showcased the power of imagination and non-traditional mediums to convey a narrative, offering a unique and memorable experience that engaged multiple senses.
